Mama, can I just fly like a butterfly does?
Mama, can I just fly like a butterfly does?
“I just saw a little butterfly flying in the rain. I wish I could fly through the rain like that little butterfly does, without getting my wings wet. Is it possible that the day is sad because it lost his daughter?” The little butterfly of love, with orange wings was sad too. She wanted to explore the world and the day just turned gray as a punishment for her going away. The little butterfly flew with all her grace and bloom through the hidden garden of a girl named Lú. The girl was sad because her flowers were withered and blue. She sat about an hour or maybe two while the flowers were sick in gloom. A boy named Rob jumped the fence and ran where the little sad girl was. He hugged her because she was a valuable friend, rob didn’t wanted her to be so wilted and dead. He told her that if she smiled the sun would come out and the flowers will smile too. But something was missing and she knew. She sobbed and prayed for hope so that the little butterfly may return to his father day. This was the only option for the stormy rain to go away. The butterfly then landed in a little stone which was near a river made of mud. She then felt wet, and tried to spread her wings wide ahead. Then she looked to the sky and hidden in the clouds his father was. She hid herself in a flower and waited for about half an hour. The little butterfly needed time to think about how she was going to tell her father that she wanted to be free. Then she saw a little girl crying in the same garden that she was and tried to fly to her lap. The little girl named Lú was amazed when she saw the butterfly near her face. While Rob held her in a warm hug she suddenly shrugged and he fell to the floor. She took the butterfly in her hand and looked at her with her dark and wide eyes. Then she understood the wonders of life and she smiled again while taking the hand of his little friend. The butterfly laughed and flew away up, up into the sky. Suddenly the dark clouds were waving goodbye and the father sun was with a bright smile in his face once again. The butterfly was free, she helped someone in need. The little girl named Lú held his friend tight because you cannot let a friendship fly by. “A butterfly is always free to go away and explore the wonders of life, that’s what the sun said. Since she helped me see the beauty of living I no longer want to wither. I have friends; I have a garden to grow. Lú kissed the cheek of his friend and went happily to the bench where her mother was. She then looked at her and smiled. She asked her mother: “Mama, can I just fly like a butterfly does?” Her mama said: “Yes dear, you can fly as freely as you may want, but remember that every butterfly must return to her flower by the dawn of the night. Then and only then she can see the stars shining for her in the sky.” Lú ran to the garden to see her flowers. Then she saw her friend Rob putting her thumb near them, just in the soil. Something wonderful happened. His friend had a green thumb and enlightened the life of her wilted flowers. The butterfly came and danced with them while a boy and a girl ran through a special place where their memories can never be erased.
